The Art In
The Square in Gainesville Georgia, September 30, 2006
More than 80 artists participated in this year's Art in the Square,
held Sept 30 in Gainesville.
Artists brought hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery, abstract and
realistic paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink, collage
painted screen doors, hand-crafted jewelry, travel photography,
handmade soaps, crafts, sculpture, hand sewed gifts, hand dyed silk
scarves and many other one-of-a-kind art objects.
Awards for the show were chosen by Jean Westmacott.
Third place award, a $75 family membership to the Quinlan Visual Arts
Center, was given to Gainesville artist Mitch Freeman for his
"Tiles," a wall of hand made colorful rectangle and square
tiles.

Commissioned Work
If you are interested in an image or work of art, but might not
"fit" your requirement, please e-mail me about a
commissioned work. I am more than willing to complete another
original image which maybe a better suit to fit your needs.
Size for example is not difficult to change, for a new original
image/ object. I am also more than willing to listen to your ideas
and concepts you would like to see created.
